We took our revised Lee Straight Pull display to this show. As you can see ,we put more emphasis on the USS Maine gun. We felt that the display looked really good. We met with friends there and had a good time visiting. We won Second Place in the Antique Long Gun category, and Best Educational display.

ST. LOUIS ANTIQUE ARMS SEPT. 17-19
St. Louis is just across the river from us, so it was an easy trip. We won Best of Show with our Lee Straight Pull display which featured one of the rifles recovered from the USS Maine in 1898. It is a pleasure to display at this show as the members of this club are very knowledgeble as concerns firearms and history.

THE MVACA 7-2010 DISPLAY SHOW
We attended the July, 2010 Kansas City Show with two displays. There were 50 displays in competion, most of which were serious competition for us. Our Lee Straight Pull display featured a new aquisition, one of the rifles recovered from the Maine. The NRA and Club judges did not favor this display, but rumor has it that the Maine Rifle was in serious competition with a Gatling gun that won "best individual gun".
We also took our Hotchkiss display, which won nothing from the NRA, but won a top ten runnerup from the Club.
As usual a great time with close friends and fellow collectors.

WINCHESTER ARMS COLLECTORS SHOW CODY, WY JUNE 18-20, 2010
As usual we had a wonderful time in Cody visiting with our friends, and displaying. Our Lee Straight Pull display won "Best of Show" so we brought home a traveling trophy which we will return to next year's WACA Cody show. Anyone who has not visited Cody, and the Musem, has missed something special. Go if you can.

Ohio Gun Collectors show May 22&23, 2010
We took both our Hotchkiss display and our Winchester Lee Straight Pull display to this show. Many, many nice comments on both displays. The Judges gave us a 'Judges Choice' award for the Hotchkiss display in the Antique Category. Since the Hotchkiss display is our favorite one to do, we were especially pleased with the award. As usual the banquet at the Air Force Museum in Dayton was outstanding. The OGCA does a wonderful job with this program.

Colorado Gun Collectors Show May 2010
We took our new Winchester Lee Straight Pull Military display to Denver in May 2010. We had lots of compliments from many visitors. We won one of the ten Judges Choice awards. Not bad considering there were 61 displays in competition. Most winning displays now have multiple tables and many guns. We feel fortunate to have won an award with our one table with three guns. Our friends Nancy and Larry Wales won first place with their Newton Rifle display. An awsome effort.
We will be going back next year if for no other reason but to visit with friends, and attend a great gun/display show.
